Major Writing Assignment #1 HWK

I believe that this assignment is asking me to dive deeper into the writing that revolves around my area of study. In addition, this assignment is asking me to reach out and ask questions to better understand what role writing plays in my area of study. This relates to other writing assignments that I’ve comepleted in other English classes in the way that it’s asking me to analyze a subject and compare it to other sources/writings so that I can further argue my perspective on the subject. 

Three questions/confusions that I have about this assignment are:

• My area of study is Enterprise Leadership, but I’m also interested in a career in music. Can I write about something in that field? 

• Are we being asked to use just any writings about the field/area of study that we are analyzing? 

• Can/Should we use writings that we find in the interviews we will be conducting?

Major Speech 2 - What is this assignment asking me to do?

This last speech assignment is asking me to speak about a problem that I feel strongly about, as well as a solution to said problem. Additionally, I am being asked to discuss the importance of both the problem at hand as well as the solution(s) that I will come up with. I must develop many supporting points that reinforce my reasoning for why the problem needs attention and why my solution to the problem is important. Along with my speech, I am being asked to provide a visual aid to add depth and content to my speech/make it more interesting.
