INTRO/METHODS Section Introduction             The debate on whether marijuana should be recreationally legalized or not is as old as the war on drugs itself.   Although marijuana has been illegal for about as the long as the drug has been popular, supporters vouch for the drug’s legalization due to their benefit that the drug brings to the field of medicine, as well as communities and their economies. In their eyes, legalizing marijuana would provide an alternative care option for patients, reduce drug related violence, create jobs within government regulated dispensaries and promote consumer safety by making information on the drug more accessible. Major Speech 2 - What is this assignment asking me to do?

This last speech assignment is asking me to speak about a problem that I feel strongly about, as well as a solution to said problem. Additionally, I am being asked to discuss the importance of both the problem at hand as well as the solution(s) that I will come up with. I must develop many supporting points that reinforce my reasoning for why the problem needs attention and why my solution to the problem is important. Along with my speech, I am being asked to provide a visual aid to add depth and content to my speech/make it more interesting.
